After over 20 years of gathering at this sacred and serene location—the unforgettable Serra Retreat Center overlooking the blue Pacific—we invite you to join us for one final, extraordinary Alexander Technique retreat in Malibu. This retreat will be a celebration of the rich community we’ve built together, the wisdom we’ve shared, and the profound practices that’ve touched the lives of so many.

Whether you have joined us in years past or this will be your first experience, you are warmly welcome. Together, seasoned teachers, longtime students, and newcomers alike will co-create a space of exploration, renewal, and connection. We believe that, in the spirit of the Alexander Technique, we are all students and learn from one another, each person bringing a unique presence and curiosity to the work.

Our Alexander Residential Retreat, now in its 47th year, welcomes participants of all levels. You’ll work with experienced teachers, form a supportive community, and explore various approaches to the Alexander Technique, discovering how applying its underlying principles to your yoga practice can deepen your understanding.

Expect optimal learning experiences, including small-group sessions, individual lessons, and classes in related disciplines such as Sports, Activities of Daily Living, Performance, and Voice. 

Our retreat takes place at the Serra Retreat Center, situated in the hills above Malibu’s picturesque beaches. This will be our last time to enjoy this amazing and sacred space. Spread across 26 acres of flowering gardens and hiking trails. The center offers a tranquil escape with breathtaking views of the Pacific. Its exceptional conference facilities include meeting rooms overlooking the ocean, a gift shop, and a delightful dining room catering to various dietary needs. Its proximity to Santa Monica and Los Angeles is the perfect location.

Room Prices:

• Single Room: $825
• Double Occupancy: $695 per person
• Commuter Rate: $375 (includes one meal per day)
